Rego Mate is a convenience tool only and does not replace your obligation to monitor your own registration and licence status.
You acknowledge that Rego Mate relies entirely on the information you provide, and that incorrect or outdated information may result in missed or incorrect reminders.

Your registration and licence obligations remain your responsibility at all times.
If you order a windscreen sticker: delivery times may vary, we are not responsible for postal delays or lost mail, and you must ensure your postal address is correct. See clause 8A for the full sticker policy.
Rego Mate operates on an annual subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
Your subscription automatically renews annually at the then-current renewal rate ($9.99 AUD unless otherwise advised). You will receive a reminder at least 7 days before each renewal date. Continued use after the renewal date constitutes acceptance of the renewed subscription.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing your payment details, you authorise Stripe to charge the applicable fee on your behalf. We do not store full payment card details.
If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you to update your payment details. Your SMS reminder service may be suspended until payment is received. We are not liable for any missed reminders during a period of payment failure.
Fees are non-refundable unless required by Australian Consumer Law. Contact us at support@regomate.com if you believe you are entitled to a refund.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current subscription period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions unless required by law.
One personalised windscreen reminder sticker is included in your first-year subscription ($14.99). The sticker is posted to your nominated address within 3–5 business days of your subscription being confirmed.
A replacement sticker may be ordered at any time during an active subscription — for example, if your sticker is damaged, lost, or you obtain a new driver's licence. Replacement stickers are subject to an additional fee as displayed on the website at the time of ordering.
The sticker is a convenience reminder tool only. It does not represent an official registration or compliance document. You remain solely responsible for renewing your vehicle registration and driver's licence by the required dates.
All active subscribers receive automatic SMS reminders for both their vehicle registration expiry date and their driver's licence expiry date, sent to the mobile number provided at sign-up.

You may opt out of SMS reminders at any time by:
Opting out of SMS reminders does not cancel your subscription or entitle you to a refund. You may opt back in at any time through your account preferences.
By providing your mobile number and subscribing, you consent to receiving automated SMS messages from us relating to your vehicle registration and licence reminders. Standard carrier message rates may apply.
We are not responsible for SMS messages not received due to mobile carrier outages, an incorrect or inactive mobile number, device settings, or international roaming restrictions. If you change your mobile number, update it in your account settings immediately.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, privacy practices, or security of third-party providers. Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
All content, branding, logos, and materials on Rego Mate are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Rego Mate is not liable for missed registration or licence deadlines, fines or penalties, loss of data or profits, errors or failures in SMS delivery, or postal delays or lost stickers.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law (including under the Australian Consumer Law), our liability is limited to the resupply of the service or the cost of the subscription fee paid, whichever is lesser.
Rego Mate is a private service and is not affiliated with any Australian government, transport authority, state or territory roads authority, or vehicle registration agency.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, we suspect fraudulent activity, or we discontinue the Services. You may cancel your subscription at any time as set out in clause 8.6.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by SMS or email prior to the changes taking effect. Continued use of the Services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state or territory in which you reside. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state or territory.
This Privacy Policy explains how Rego Mate collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring your information is accurate, complete, and up to date. Rego Mate is not responsible for missed reminders or incorrect notifications caused by inaccurate information provided by you.
Your personal information is stored securely in a cloud database provided by Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States. Supabase uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication credentials are managed by Supabase Authentication and are never stored in plain text.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your credentials confidential.
